Sierra Mountain Management claims to be located in Truckee, CA, managing a dozen homeowner associations in the area. However, upon two weeks research none of their claims can be verified. They have no website– only a login page; not a member of BBB, not a member of Chamber of Commerce, no business license, no bond information, no address, no office, blocked cell numbers, no accreditations, certificates of training, references, etc. Any inquiry goes to an answer machine. The company somehow won the contract to oversee our association in 2018, and now requests homeowners to pay a special assessment of $35,000 each ($1.3 million) above our $700 per month dues. Nothing about this "company" adds up, and I see nothing but red flags watching months of unsatisfactory results.
