Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a letter from Thomas Valdez, Task Manager with Shopper HR Inc. In it was a check in the amount of $2850 for work at home job. I was to deposit the check in my account, wait for it to clear, keep $350 and take $1500 to Walmart and get three $500 gift cards. I then needed to go to another Walmart and buy two more $500 gift cards. Once that was done, I was supposed to scratch off the numbers on the back including the security code and send a picture to Mr. Valdez. I called the ScamPulse.com to find out if this was legitimate and found it was a scam.
