Type of a scam COVID-19

Ordered merchandise on April 19, 2020. Never received product. Emailed the company requesting status of shipping, on May 5, 2020 received a response "Sorry about the wait time your order is still in processing due to the item you ordered is in high demand. when everything has been done we will ship your parcel to your soon. when the tracking number comes out we will send you an email with that pleae don’t worry and wish you have a nice day". On May 10, 2020 I received another email ‘your parcel is still in processing now. when everything has been done we will ship your parcel to you soon. when the tracking number comes out we will let you know" after threatening to report this to PayPal and the BBB, they responded with ‘could you wait for few more days sorry if caused any inconvenience, Lisa". On May 15, 2020 I reported this to PayPal who opened a case with them as well. To date (June 6, 2020) this company has not responded to my case opened with PayPal and have stopped responding my emails. They have NOT refunded the money paid to them to date. This company is a scam. THIEVES.
