Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Caller said my husband applied for a pay day loan in 2012 and failed to repay the second half of the loan. Said they purchased the debt and if he did not send him a settlement payment of $200 they were going to serve him with a lawsuit. They would not give me the original loan company, amount of loan, their own address nor would they send me documentation of any kind. I know my husband did not apply for this especially at tax return time. We filed a complaint with the FCPB as well.
