they call asking if you would like to lower interest rates (robo call) then you speak to one person who tells you there story. They find out if you at least have 2000 in debt to credit cards and then another person comes on and gets credit card info and talks you into getting on phone with one of your credit card providers and to give them authority to negotiate on your behalf. then they ask if you qualified for lower interest rates and when you don’t they start asking the credit card company about any cash advance on your card and is there any deals for cash transfers and then puts them on hold and talks to you in private and says she can get a cash transfer to my bank account, gets that number and that they were supposed to transfer over 4000 dollars into my account and they would pay off my credit cards and give me a card with zero interests to use and they guaranteed a 2000 dollar savings and they said probably more than that and I was to mail them a 1000 dollars for the service and at end of conversation they said the last four digits of my social was encrypted and I needed to give the rest of my social. like a complete fool I did, I called back within two mins to resend and they said it couldn’t be undone, and hung up. Now they have all my info. including mother maiden name. I immediately started closing accounts but now worried about ID theft.
