Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received an email from Craig’s List for a dryer I was selling for $200.00. The email came from a Rich Kimball offering to buy the dryer. He said he would send a money order. He sent the tracking number for the USPS envelope. I received it a few days later with a money order for $1700.53. They wanted me to send a text only to the number saying I received it. Of course I didn’t cash it. Reported it to BBB.org.
