Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Was offered extra cash to do mystery shopping jobs. I responded because I have done mystery shopping in the past for legitimate companies
in the past and figured I’d check them out. After completing form I received a text message advising me I would receive a package today. A package arrived today thru USPS 2 day priority mail. It contained a letter instructing me what to do and a US Postal Money Order for $953.50.
I’m supposed to deposit the money order ino my bank account, keep $200 for my pay, than purchase a money gram at Walmart with the remaining cash and send it to the name on the form. I’m supposed to be evaluating the service at Walmart en regards to their Money Gram service
