Saw online an ad for Kroger secret shopper. Thought it would be fun so sent my name, address, and telephone #. Never heard back from them. Next thing I find in the mail a $1800 check and instructions to go cash the check, by 3-$500 gift cards and keep $300 as commission. To report the length of time it took for the cashier to load it, etc. With specific instructions not to activate it to send a pic of the card number to the site. I saw online to be careful of this scam. You will cash the check, but the 3 cards, send them the info, they now have $1500 in prepaid cards and you end up having to pay the bank $1800 for a fake check! I text them you never contact me again. Please beware.

I apply for a job as as secret shopper . they sent me a check 2875.00. which 300.00 was to be my salary then send the rest of the money to two separate people in the Philppines. visa moneygram. I did not deposit or send any money anywhere Who pay you for a job before you do the work/ And why would I need to send off 2500.00 to a foregin country .they had the nerve to call me to see if I cashed the check no way so I would owe my bank but I would have sent these people real money.
