My mom had gotten a white screen on her computer with a Microsoft symbol on the lower right with a phone number and a statement to call Microsoft tech support. I guy with an Indian accent stayed he worked for Microsoft. He took over my computer and tried to convince me that my moms computer was being used for illegal activity. He pulled up the face of a bald mans profile after a search (like off of Mission Impossible) and he stated this man was the person hacking into my moms laptop. He then wanted me to purchase fire wall protection package for $280-$500.
