Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was contacted by someone who gave the name Luis Herrera. He offered me a job as a tour guide for the company Santorini Best Tours. The job that I was assigned after I filled out the application for the job was to deposit a check in my personal account and wire the money to a third party, a Mr. Dzmitry Akulich, based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Apparently a zipcode is not necessary. The check I would receive would be from a Mr. Nathan Goudy. I was aware that this was a common scam and informed Luis that I was not willing to do this, and did not feel comfortable working for him in this manner. I further informed him that I could not find anyone of his name employed by a travel agency anywhere online. He threatened a lawsuit if I did not comply. I checked the website of this company, which I could not find a day prior, and called the phone number. This number does not work. A further suspicion raising note in the email I received from Luis lies in the final section of this text, "Though we’d greatly appreciate completion of current assignment as soon as possible (and an additional bonus of 5 percent for each processed check amount is guaranteed if you handle a transaction once received within 24 hours – to be added to your monthly pay) as we are aimed at receiving customer payments and subsequently processing customer orders within 1-2 days, please note that if your bank DEMANDS clearing of the check, according to established bank policies, you can deposit the check to clear it." I believe this has affected multiple people, as the USPS express package I received was from a fourth party in California.
