Type of a scam Employment

I responded to a CareerBuilder Job email and this company wanted to hire me y saying I was their top pick out of 13 people. I was sent a Employer/Employee Agreement to sign including having to upload my Driver License, I was contacted by someone in HR and Shipping Department congradulating me on being hired, I was asked to setup a Dashboard login for receiving packages from Fedex, UPS, USPS and was asked to create accounts with Fedex, UPS, USPS to order shipping labels, boxes, etc plus I needed to purchase two rolls of tape prior to other supplies being sent to me by them things I never received. The packages would come to my house and once received I would go to a Dashboard click received, upload photos of the item, upload the packaging list and then wait for them to send me a outgoing shipping label to take to Fedex or UPS once sent I would login into the Dashboard clink sent and upload the receipt from Fedex or UPS. I was promise a $25 bonus for every package sent on top om my $3000 a month Base Salary. However, once I sent all the packages out they locked out my login into the Dashboard and want receive any calls from me. I haven’t been paid. The Packages I received came from different people with different address. This Company promotes working with people from other countries who shop with Amazon, Ebay, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.

You deal with the Shipping Department: Daniel Garza 786-408-8341, Dana Russo 786-408-6630, Abigail Bruno 786-408-6059 and other person named Noam but not sure if these are their real names. I was deal with Dana at first until at requested to speak to their HR Department. She was going to have Accounting call me concerning where to send my pay check I never heard from them and from that point on didn’t hear anything else from Dana and start hearing from a person name Noam.

Type of a scam Employment

They contacted me through Indeed.com job site. Guaranteed $1500.00 per month plus $50.00 per package I received and processed. (I received items, opened outside boxes to verify contents on packing slip, repackaged the items, noted on ‘my dashboard account page’ that I had received, packed, posted photo, and to request a forwarding shipping label. 99% of packages sent out through FedEx. I had 3 hours to report the accepted delivery to my home, process, and request label, then to be taken to the carrier for drop off, then another pic taken of shipping receipt posted on my account page. I worked the entire month, as they paid monthly, then waited for my ‘direct deposit’ that never came. I researched the company AGAIN, then finding the entire scam write-up on this scam. I did the same before I took the ‘job’ and had found nothing. They must run 30 days and then change their name. Their email address, by the way, is a VIRTUAL address. They are not really there. It allows people from anywhere in the world to do business undetected in the USA. They stayed on top of me with every package, until the last 2 days of the 30 days. Then they quit answering messages, mail, and calls. Also, I received regular MAIL addressed to people from Synchrony Bank, Paypal, and others. According to the scam write up I found yesterday, these peoples names and info are stolen to obtain credit, and the packages I’d received were purchased using this stolen credit. I was instructed not to open these envelopes, but to store them for 30 days and they would send a special mailer for them. I do still have them, unopened, if law enforcement needs them. I also have the copies of all the shipping labels, and all the pages of my ‘account’.

I feel like an [censored]. I’m a smart lady but this one got me. Please be aware these people are liars, vicious, and thieves. I ignored the twinges in the beginning so I blame myself for being the victim, but hopefully the tactics I’ve posted will help someone else from getting hurt. I didn’t actually lose much cash, just gas and a couple of shipping supply costs, but they do owe me $3000.00 for a months work! I’ve got rent due in 2 days and I’m scrambling now. After finding the scam article on this company yesterday, I think the real losers are the people getting credit cards in their names and merchandise being charged against them. Also, when they send you a shipping label? The sender is YOU and your address, so if they are caught, it looks like you are the criminal. I guess they think if you’re ignorant enough to fall for the scam, you’re ignorant enough to allow them use of your name. I’m sure the ‘supervisors names and numbers’ I have are fake as well.

Beware all, these criminals are good at what they do. Anger, frustration, and embarrassment today is on the menu. Don’t be a victim.
