I went on Safelite Website to see how much it would be to replace a windshield in my vehicle several months ago. I was trying to find out some information about my insurance policy on my App and I notice a Glass replacement claim on my insurance. I never gave Safelite permission on their App and never spoke to anyone on the phone to make an insurance claim. I would have never known that a claim was filed against my insurance if I wouldn’t have noticed it. Nothing was paid out but it took me several hours and multiple phone calls over 2 days to get this claim removed from my insurance. NO ONE could tell me how this claim was reported to my insurance company. I have a driver under the age of 25 on my policy and I don’t need anything reported that may increase my premiums.
