Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I’m not sure my first contact with this company was email or text. But I filled out a information job request. Shortly there after, I started receiving text messages from phone number 518-681-7125 which I ignored. I figured they would go away eventually if I didn’t reply but they didn’t. I received the attached unsigned document and a check for $2,980 in the mail last week. I have done nothing to earn this money. What should I do with them?
