Type of a scam Online Purchase

I found this couple Scott and Carla Rees through the Facebook market place. At the time I was inquiring about floating shelves. He charged me less than $100. I actually received those but he knew I wanted more. I decided to take on a new kitchen island purchase. I needed to save half at first the total was 700 something then I decided to add two drawers so now it’s $900 I had to come up with $450 to give him to get on the list. He messaged mea couple times asking if I had the payment, he wanted to make sure I got in line I told him I only had 350 and not half he said it was ok so I didn’t have to wait any longer than I had to. I could give him the other $100 later. I didn’t want to do that so I waited till I had the 450.00. He has people pay half upfront tells them he’s book for six months then when he gets the money he cuts all ties like he’s blocked me from commenting on anything he posts. Doesn’t answer messages or calls. At this point I’m just wanting my money back.
