Type of a scam Employment

I was offer a job to work with them, I accepted it, and I was emailed an agreement stating that if I completed the duties correctly that I would be paid $2,400 every 30 days. It has been 31 days and I have yet to receive my direct deposit check. So now I’m here curious and worried that I might have been scammed and that my personal information might be subject to fraud.
