Type of a scam Debt Collections

They have contacted family members and tell them is very important for me to contact them. When I contact them to find out what the call is about, they inform me they are from a law firm and have a civil complaint on me and will try to resolve with me before it goes to the court. They claimed I went to the hospital a few years back and that I have a bill outstanding with them and I need to pay it off or make payments to avoid further collections and having to go to court. When I told them they have the wrong information and I will contact local police and my attorney, the guy had the nerves to tell me that I must of hit my head and that’s why I was in the Hospital and I that’s why I don’t rememeber.
