Type of a scam Online Purchase
Tried to purchase tickets through Craigslist for a football game. Had tickets at face value he claimed to have. Showed a confirmation page that he previously purchased the tickets.
He asked that I send the money through Facebook messenger. Facebook said it was a "safe" way to transfer money. They do NOT tell you that if you are scammed, they cannot do anything because it is an "authorized transaction" according to them.
Once I sent payment, he stopped answering texts and blocked or deleted the Facebook account.
