Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

The man said he was calling from my medical Co., regarding reimbursement for a medicine that I used to clean my blood. This was definitely a phishing scam. I asked what medical Co? And he just kept emphasizing," This is for a reimbursement for you." I hung up and wrote down his name and phone number from my caller Id. It disappeared a few minutes later? The man did have an accent as well. I am not one to report this type of thing,but I can see where an elderly person could easily fall for a scam like this ! I leave this matter in your capable hands. I hope you are able to let me know what happens regarding this situation. Thank you for your help
