Type of a scam Employment

A man named Pavan Muddana text me telling me he found me off of indeed asking if I would be willing to train for a data entry/payroll position. Offering $650 hour for 10-15hrs a week from home. He sent me a contract and told me to sign and sent back asap. I kept asking him all these questions and finally I asked him if I had to put any money out and he said no, we send you a check and you cash it to get all your equipment. That for one is a scam. 2) he told me the address of the new locations is 36 S Golden St in Norwich. That address doesn’t exit. It is a storage unit place and one of the units is #36!! So I sent him a message and asked him if he was going to have an office in a 10X10 storage unit? I’m an all set. Thank you! He still asked if I was ready to sign the contract. No thanks!!! I am all set with his bogus offer!
