Received several texts wanting to know if we handle ‘full house roof replacements’, second text wanted to know our method of payment. I was skeptical from the beginning but they provided more details than that of previous scammers so I requested they contact me by phone. The caller had a thick Asian accent and after a very brief conversation told me they would text me, where their English appeared to be much better. I asked one of our estimators to provide them with a quote. The customer was insistent on getting the quote right away and kept insisting for us to charge the entire amount on the credit card as soon as possible as he was in the hospital and would not be able to do this in person. We were not certain that this individual even owned the home, or that the name they provided was legitimate. We determined it was not a legitimate request and did not follow through.
