My elderly friend was using her computer when a screen popped up saying she had over 31 viruses on her computer that needed to be cleaned up. She was instructed to click through to rid the computer of the virus. She did and was told the Resources Techies from Florida needed to take control of her computer. They did and then coerced her to paying $399.99 for tech support.
