I was busy and foolishly answered the telephone since the phone number appeared to be a local one and I thought it may have been one of the service providers we recently employed. The young woman at the other end asked "can you hear me" and before thinking I said yes and then told her I was not interested. I hung up but immediately remembered seeing on CBS News a piece about phone scams where the party attempts to get you to reply yes and then records it. I am just fearful that I was scammed and don’t know what recourse I have.
