Type of a scam Online Purchase
The add said it was free samples of skin care products which appeared to be Estee Lauder products. The only charge was for postage. They offered a skin cream and then an eye cream. I only ordered one of them for 4.95. My bank fraud alert called me about several pending charges, one of which had gone through for 89.95. When I called the number, they were very hateful and said it would do no good to dispute it because I signed where the small print was (which you can’t see on your phone). The other charges were also for around $89. or $90. Thank goodness I used my bank card instead of a credit card because at least three of them would have gone through and I wouldn’t have known it until the bill came. I will never order online again unless it’s a reputable company I know.
