Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a VM on my cell to call this number and that they were a debt collector regarding a debt. I called the number and the woman asked me to verify information after she would give part of the information. I refused to give her the information until she told me what company they were that I contacted. She quickly became belligerent and threatening and said that she was going to fill out paperwork on me that I called and would not cooperate. What was most disturbing is that she had the last 4 numbers of my social and wanted the rest of the numbers. When I refused to give her that until she told me what company she worked for and what debt this was in regards to , that was when her demeanor changed.
