Type of a scam Employment

This very sophisticated scam will contact you via email stating your application was pulled from their database from www.mightyrecruiter.com. The will send very official looking hiring documents will legal terms, a fully functional site, and company logo. They will provide an in-depth description of your role, who you will report too, you pay, and company policy. The will ask for you to submit 1-9, W2 and direct deposit, just as any other legitimate employer will do. The primary mode of contact is email and Hangouts. After the false pretense of ‘hiring you’ and you performing some menial tasks to check your knowledge. They will send a check of over $7500. Some of it will be yours as a on-boarding bonus. This check is to be used to purchase company equipment.

Luckily for me, my bank placed a hold on this check for it to clear with the issuing bank (Oklahoma Credit Union). This check will not clear. Next you must report fraud activity with your identity because they have everything they need to ruin you.
