Type of a scam Employment
I found an ad on Face Book that was a work at home data entry specialist. I was suppose to be in training for a week via Hangouts.com. The "trainer’s" name was Bernard Hart. He sent me a a letter on government letter head specify stating that they were not a scam and that all liablity would be on the company. When I started training I had asked many questions regarding the company, but there were red flags. They did not send me a W2 form or an I-9. He said it would be sent as soon as I completed two tasks. I completed the first task…very leery of doing it, which was to send money via western union to someone in CONTONOU, BENIN, using "the company’s" banking information but putting my information in the sender section. After completing the transaction I had a bad feeling so I asked the trainer where Red Hat Inc was located so I could look them up under the BBB. The trainer keep sending me screen shots of people making money. At this point I couldn’t verify the company information so I told them to never contact me again.
