Beware of current ‘Record Transfer Services’ mail scam
Please be aware of a new scam that is in the mail. A company by the name of Record Transfer Services out of Wilmington, Delaware is sending out ‘Deed Processing Notices’, requesting that you pay them up to $83.00 to obtain a copy of your current deed. Please do not respond to this notice. If you are in need of a copy of your current deed you can visit your local County office and they can print it off for you for a nominal fee. Letter looked Official and was stamped

These phony notices are very official looking. Below is an example of this ‘Deed Processing Notice’ so that you can recognize it if you receive one.
I called the toll free number and young girl answered- and I told her I was reporting this Scam to the BBB.We did not send any money and I told her to take us off their mailing list as this is a Scam for Senior Citizens
