Type of a scam Debt Collections

Hi, I just received a very disturbing call from a place that would only give the the name READERS SERVICES. they claim they have been sending me 4 magazines for the past 9 months and if I don’t pay it or a cancellation fee of $129. they would charge my "bank"(unnamed) and turn me over to the CREDIT BUREAUS.!!!

No MATTER WHAT I SAID, THE GUY READ FROM HIS SCRIPT AND repeated himself, DEMANDING money today by giving mehim$124.00. They don’t have a credit card and he claimed my bank would be charged $499.00. He refused to give me any info or send me a paper bill.

I’m on S. S. and am 78 years and never use my bank bard even in the local stores.

PLEASE HELP ME. If you go online, under READERS SERVICES, you will see they use several different names for their scam.
