Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a check in the mail for $8965.90. Has been deducted from my winnings. The purpose of the check is t o pay for taxes, insurance, shipping and handling on my winnings. Mailing stated I won $500,000 sweepstakes. Will be delivered to me by their special courier company. I would receive the balance. I did not know if it was a scam. Checking with ScamPulse.com first.
