I saw a post on Instagram by a friend for Ray-Ban sunglasses for $24.99. I went to the website and purchased four pair of the glasses with a credit card. When I completed the transaction, I saw a darihi.xyz show up as the vendor name on the transaction on my credit card. Immediately I knew it was a scam, and I fell for it. I asked my friend about the Instagram post. She said her account was hacked, and she did not post it. I then tried to look on the website for a way to cancel the order. There is no contact I do in the site anywhere. With no way to contact the vendor, and knowing it is a scam, I went to my Apple Card and disputed the transaction. The transaction is still pending, so hopefully, they will cancel it on my behalf. Now fingers crossed I don’t have my credit card information stolen. I certainly have learned my lesson.
