They contact you by email and try to hire you. I personally didn’t fall for it but noticed a lot of other individuals did when they went by the name “Rantom Insurance”. I will attach the screenshots of the emails.

They are also being called Plexplus insurance I just got an email from them. I’m just glad I’m not gullible. If you’ve never applied for a company by that name why would you submit your info to them. Either way be careful guys! Check and double check email addresses. If there’s no return phone numbers or credentials then it’s more than likely spam.

I was hired on 2/18/2020 as a Home Based Insurance Agent. I was told I would need to follow instructions for receiving, inspecting and shipping parcels that come to my residence. After 4 weeks of doing this and doing it with integrity and honesty I was ignored and no response from the only contact Lia Serafini.
Below is an example of what I was asked to do. Parcel comes addressed to a name that does not live here, then when shipping out it goes to another person. All brand new stuff. This is an elaborate scam because they have you fill out all the paperwork that looks legit and communication is good until its time to get paid and then you get scammed. NOT GOOD!

OK people its time to go to BBB, AG office of your state. I’m filing all the reports I can with all the agencies that can do something about this. This is so upsetting especially during these trying time with COVID19. Just unacceptable to use people and steal their time with the promise to pay. I was even told I did “very good” work that I would get a full contract. Please people lets help each other put a stop to this.

Ok I have done my part people as mentioned in my previous post. Please do your part as well. This will be my last post as I think this website is compromising our concerns.

I my self have been “highered” by Rantom Insurance, as a postal inspector agent. I went as fare as receiving my first package, somthing just didn’t feel right. I froze, so guess what I kept it! Now these people are now leaving me threatening voice mails about not wanting to get the authorities involved in Lia Sarifini behalf of Rantom insurance. So I sent him the link on package forwarding scams. Now I’m going to forward these reports to them as well. I live in a small town and I just couldn’t take the humiliation of being arrested for illegal use of the USP Office , along with receiving stolen property and anything else that law could lay on me. The information I have is the same as the post before this. I’m so relieved for finally finding proof that confirms my sussbition. I seem to be a magnet for this stuff.

I feel for you! Can we team up to share notes? I’m questioning this website. I sent ScamPulse an email with no reply. When I first looked up this company Scampulse came up. I have a feeling Rantom is running this site. I just called the number for Rantom, phone rang once and then blank. If willing you can email me [email protected]

Same thing happened to me with Lia Serafini as my ‘manager’. I worked for a month, then she disappeared and I was never paid. I tried calling Rantom Insurance but the phone just rang with no chance to even leave a message. Another concern is that I signed up for direct deposit and they have my bank info. Avoid this SCAM!

I just started with them last week. What state are you in? We cant let this happen!

I received an email for job opportunity. Upon contacting them back they sent me a link with forms to fill out and sign a return. I printed off my forms signed the contract and within a few days started receiving packages was told to inspect the packages send back information to them about what was in each box weight for a return slip to be mailed out to me attached the new return label and drop it off at whichever shipping site was chosen by them. I was told we would be paid monthly first paycheck do 30 days from the date of your first package that you received during his probationary. I would receive $1,800 for this first 4 weeks the following months after I would receive $3,550 a month contract wages to this date as of yet I’ve received no money and I have no contact with the company at all since the day my first check was due me.

The same thing happened to me. My probation period ended but I received no money at the end of the month. I didn’t lose money but did make a small investment to try to make money doing this business. I.e. bought a printer and printer paper. I tried calling my local news network fox 25 investigates. So far, was not reached back.

Normally, I proceeded to read the documents thinking I was over exaggerating, but NO!

After reviewing the documents, here are a few alerts that stood out:

1. All apps have to be printed, filled out and sent as a picture or PDF. No HR number, fax, or Correct address provided.

2. No face-to-face OR over the phone interview

3. no set hours

4. Once your app is approved, you’ll receive your first package within 2-3 business days, even thought the probation period is 4 weeks.

5. We’re expected to pay/fund all expenses during the probation period (and there after) and all receipts will be refunded and added to your monthly wages at the end of every month.

6. This job is considered a 1099 contract, and you’re considered an "agent" and not an "employee" which also means you’ll be responsible for your own taxes.

7. Given are two different web addresses: rantominsurance.net & rantominsurance.com but neither work.

8. Not only are the web address not accessible but the address does not match. It states Chicago, FL… NOT Chicago, IL on the last page of the trial contract.

***Attached are supporting documents. Sorry, it doesn’t allow me to attach more. All of it is very misleading.
