While I was on my job search I had come across a job posting about a sales operation clerk at Rakuten e-commerce company. the instructions suggested that I should email [email protected] A few hours later I got a congratulation letter that read like this:

we have checked your resume and would like offer Sales Operations Clerk vacancy

Rakuten is one of the leading e-commerce companies in the world. Our mission is to empower people and society through the internet while aiming at becoming the Gloabal Innovation Company.

We’re hiring Sales Operations Clerks for the p2p project of the company that operated with 90% activity online.

What will you responsible for:

– Create and execute online sales orders to drive engagement and maximize conversion and sales

– Support General sales Manager and Executive team

– Use existing site administration tools to maintain an online shopping portal with listings for more than 2,500 merchants and associated information.

– Maintain client profiles and setup information on internal admin and affiliate interfaces.

– Participate in responding to any billing or payment issues from clients and expense report issue

– File and organize invoices and other sales documents, if necessary

– No cold calls, no investments to start

During the training, the employees are fully paid on regular hourly basis : $20 per hours

I just wanted to let anyone know what I experienced with Rakuten Work From Home Interview Scam. I got a message through my indeed app stating this message….

After that I was told that I had to train for 6 weeks before I could get paid.

I later realized that he was scamming people due to an email chain I saw online with the same name but who was not working for the company. I proceeded to investigate further and I saw that he had been scamming people all over the United States. Someone needs to stop this person.

I received an email job offer with a employment offer letter to sign and have notarized. The job offered $20 an hour work from home. It seemed to good to be true but I wasn’t asked any personal information (ssn, bank info). It was said I would be paid a lump sum for training after 6 weeks. On the 6th week I called the office of “Mark Levin” and noticed the voice was off so I proceeded to call the hr phone number. They are the same voice and doesn’t let you speak to a person. I then looked up mark levin rakuten and came across a scam notice on indeed that was not there when I did my first scam research. A lot of people were complaining of being sent money to do “tasks” and then their accounts in PayPal would go negative and they are left owing thousands of dollars. I closed my account immediately before any money could be sent. I hope this helps someone because the jobs seems to good to be true but at the same time it’s hard to pass up.
