Type of a scam Debt Collections

Yes I received a call from R C CAPITAL collection services who had my social number and address but wrong date of birth. They said I owed a payday loan from over a year ago when I asked to send me verification of it they were extremely rude and hung up when I called back and asked why they hung up they made up a story about why. I told them that my wife and I are in our 70s and have health problems and do not need this stress. They laughed and hung up I have no idea what they will do next so I guess I will have to wait because besides this site I do not know what else to do. Thanks for listening
