I am getting phone calls from 313-373-3000 saying this is Robbie from Quicken Loans and I am calling to congratulate you on closing your loan today. I have not applied for any loan from them.

Type of scam is not on your list. These people have been calling me day AND NIGHT to ‘complete’ a loan THEY did withOUT my permission. I did NOT ask for any such loan and they hit my credit report withOUT my permission as well. I asked them to write a letter to the credit bureaus to have those hits removed as they did such damage that they greatly lowered my score with multiple hits withOUT my knowledge or consent. Instead they increased their harassment trying to push me into a loan with them by increasing the calls to me as well as they sold my name to fharateguide.com which I had never heard of until this bs started. Now I am getting spammed with not only phone calls but with emails and text messages as well. They just don’t get that when I said I did NOT call or visit their website or ask in any way for their product that it means ‘NO! I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!’. ‘NO’ means ‘NO’ and what they are doing is violating my privacy, my rights, my credit ratings and my time. Funny how they asked for my phone number and when I refused to give it to them they hung up on me and then immediately called me back ‘apologizing’ for the call dropping and wanted to pick up where they left off with getting me to tell them the same phone number that they had just called me on. That happens to be the same number they call me on day and night during hours that it is illegal to call to try and sell something to someone. I am on the National Do Not Call list as well as the National Do Not Email and the National Do Not Contact list so they are breaking several laws as well as their code of ethics seems to have disappeared all together. Not to mention they are breaking their own privacy rules by selling or giving my email address to some company I have never heard of. I did contact the fharateguide and they did provide me with the info on who they got my email from. They confirmed it came from quickenloans. They are texting me every fifteen minutes and sometimes less time between texts even tho I texted back with ‘STOP’ per their own instructions. What they are doing is extreme harassment and enough is enough. It needs to stop.

i have never done business with quicken loans. neither has my father. nor have either of us signed up for this or any of this harassment. although somehow they have his name and email with my address and phone number and are consistently calling and leaving voicemails and texting. my father is not techy so i am sure they are emailing him spam as well. they have been told to stop, they have been blocked, they have been reported to do not call complaint registry. So now after this complaint if they do not cease and desist i am looking into options contacting authorities for legal action.

Quicken Loans contacted me via my personal cell phone and left a voice mail saying they were calling about the online loan application I had submitted. I had not submitted an online loan and was instantly afraid my identity had been stolen and my financial information had been compromised. I’m on the state and national do not call lists. But they were saying the call was about a loan app I submitted, which would allow them to bypass these regulations, though it wasn’t true. Terrified of some breach of my personal information, I called them back only to be told there was no loan application, they had PURCHASED my information from some group that mines data from the internet and they were trying to get me to do business with them. They wanted to sell me a mortgage loan.
