Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I applied for a loan with a few places. He contacted me on 12/5/18 after a text was sent to my phone advising I was approved for a loan from $1000-$7000.

He knew my home address and which bank I was with. He asked me to confirm the last 4 digits of my social security, my dob and my employment details. He then asked for me to sign some documents and to send a photo Id to the email address. I sent him a copy of my passport details. He then said my loan was approved and they were going to deposit the money into my account. He asked me to give him the details of my online banking username and password. I told him I wasn’t going to do that and he said that I can hide my balance so he can’t see. I said no. I’m still

Not giving you the details and he said he cannot process my loan then. I said that I was fine with that and hung up.

Attempted to get my info but I realized it was a scam. They asked me to get a one time use card for $150 and promised me a loan of $2000 at $100 a month and that they were a loan that uses FDIC to pay for loans if you can’t make your payment on time. I researched before giving my information and was able to stop the process hopefully. I do not recall if I gave any other identifying information.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I applied for a personal loan on their website, and was later contacted by emailing saying I had been approved for a loan and needed to call my loan officer. When I called there seemed to be something wrong with the line it was coming in and out. I was having trouble hearing what the officer was saying. We went over what I had been approved for and settled on an amount, and my repayment plan. The officer Matk Williams explained he would send some documents for me to esign to my email address. I needed to sign and email the documents back along with a photo of my ID. Once I sent the information in I called the office back, but got no answer until about 30 minutes later. When I did get a call back, I was told I didn’t have to pay any money to them upfront but an insurance policy needed to be placed in my name for them to send me my loan, they also wanted the log in information for my online banking in order to place the funds in my account. When I told them I didn’t want a policy put in my name they said they would call me back after speaking to their management. After that first day I did not receive another call I would call multiply times over thr next week. I would either get the desk phone for another person who was not my loan officer or I would be told he was going to call me back. I only received a call from him once I called one morning and said if I didn’t get a call that day I would report them to the BBB. When I did get my call the officer said I didn’t get my loan because there was no deposit button they could find. He explained they could Western Union me the money which was a $2,000 loan, first I would have to. Call them when I got to the parking lot of where I would pick up the Western Union, then i would get my instructions on how to get my money. Before they could send the money I needed to send them a $118 payment. Once they had the payment they could send me to the Western Union Department.

Total money lost $405

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

David, loan officer, offered me a $10000 loan. I was over joyed because I needed about $8000 to pay for a competition. He broke down my monthly payments and explained the insurance and how much I needed to pay. $ I paid the insurance amount only to get $0 money. The next day I ask where my money is and then I’m told I have a red flag on my name and need to pay $300 to remove it. I paid that and never received a dime. Now I’m short $405 & can’t take my athletes this weekend to competition. I’m completely mortified and don’t know what to do now.

I fell for the Quick Cash USA loan (USA Quick Cash (727-249-0436). They deposited into my account then said the funds are being held except for $500 and I needed to money gram them $480 and keep the remainder to pay the fees. This went on for two transactions and now my bank has locked all accounts. My bank noticed that the deposit was made from someone else’s account in another state by mobil deposit. Because I did not catch this right away, another account is compromised and told them to have their legal department contact me. Fortunately I did not sign any loan agreement. Do not do business with them especially Eric Walker and David Smith.
