I received a letter in the mail, supposedly from Quan Tech, plus two of the same letter, hung on my door. Then, a man came to the door with the same letter. The man had a lanyard on with a blank spot where a name should be displayed. The letter says that they, Quan Tech, are contracted by a government agency that is headed up by Warren Friedman with his supposed signature. The letter says they will give you $130.00 for your cooperation. The letter say that they want to check for lead in the paint in my house, water, dust under the carpet, things that may be hazardous, faucet too hot for children, smoke detectors and etc. I don’t believe the government would send a letter out, followed by the same letters hung on my door, followed by people coming to my door and also offering $130.00. I believe that it is a scam and the people should not let these people in or speak with them. They should report it. If these people or company get in your house it could end up being problematic.They were sent away from us with a firm statement.
