Type of a scam Employment

The company emailed me. They said they saw my profile on career builder. Our email correspondence was very professional and seemed legitimate. Their contracts and PDFs that outlined the position also seemed very legitimate. My first suspicion came when I went through the contract with a fine tooth combed and saw their "strong recommendation" for me to open a specific bank account or checking out specifically for working with them. They also said using my personal account was viable. This I questioned though…because corporate companies usually issue a corporate card for expenses.

I raised that in question, with the person "from their HR department" that I was corresponding with via e-mail. I was told that all of those questions would be answered during the phone interview. They said to not be alarmed that the phone interview would likely come from an unknown number on caller ID.

Moments ago, the phone rang from an unknown caller, and I answered. A man named "Steven" spoke quietly and almost timidly on the phone. There was no background noise in the call at all, not even computer keys or typical office noises (to remain objective and logical however, I tried to ignore how that concerned me). Steven had an accent, it sounded European or Russian, but I apologize I cannot pin-point it well.

Steven first question was " May I speak with ___(my name)____." Then once I confirmed my identity, then he said "Ok lets get started…so will you be using a bank account of your own or opening a second account to make transactions for us?"

At that very moment, I officially new it was a scam.

Luckily, I had not provided any SSIN information by this point in corresponding with the company.

The only piece of identification that they have from me, is a photo copy of my license, which i was told they needed in order to start my application process for the position. I figured this was fairly normal, as a License is needed for a background check, which most companies perform whilst going through the interview process.

I will attach screen-captures of my email correspondence.
