I clicked on a friends share for https://pure-coffee-diet.com and https://pure-garcinia-diet.com. The sites offered a free trial for just the cost of shipping and handling. I thought since my good friend spoke so highly of these products and it said it was a FREE trial, I would try it. Later that day, I was contacted about both products by seperate phone calls. I was told that this was a 30 day free trial, that I would not be charged anything but the shipping and handling for both products. I asked 3 different times with both calls "Is this a FREE trial, no strings attached? Will I have a recurring charge after the 30 day trial? No, Maam, I was told. I was told with both products every time I asked, that the only way I would be charged anything, other than the shipping and handling for the free trial, is if I call and reorder the product. I was told I would have to authorize the charge for anything else. Well it’s not even a full 30 days after receiving my FREE trial and I have a charge of $89.97 for the garcinia cambogia. I would have had a charge for the green coffee cleanse, but I didn’t have sufficient funds and it was denied. I got lucky there. So I called 3 seperate times within a 45 minute period. I was told that if I did not contact the company with in 14 days of ordering my free trial that I was charged the $89.97 for each product. They kindly cancelled any further charges, but would not refund me the $89.97 that was charged to my account. I was informed that no one from their business called to confirm my free trial order. That no would have told me that I would not be charged. Yet in the next sentence I was informed that I was read the terms and conditions when I ordered the free trial. Yet I ordered the free trial online. The first 2 cs reps hung up on me. I was upset, yes, but not irate. I have worked customer service for years and have dealt with my fair share of irate customers. So I am always calm, I do raise my voice, but I do not yell, or swear or threaten in any way shape or form. As I know how that feels and what that does to that person on a personal level, even though it’s not personally their fault. The third time I called I asked to speak to a floor lead. She told me the same thing. That I would not be issued a refund, because I didn’t contact them within the 14 day period. I explained everything. I was told there was nothing they could do for me and she hung up on me.
