Gentleman called said he was with PUBLISHERS and I just won a Mercedes Benz. Said wanted me to wire $250.00 to a WI and take to Western Union, and phone # 876.776.9343, and stated his name was John Dixon (Dickson) not sure of the spelling. He kept me on the phone for over an hour and would not let it ride asking me if and where I bank. Said my husband signed up for the this ( husbands been deceased for 15 Yrs). So my daughter call the number he would not use the name publishers clearing house. She confronted him that this is a scam and he said not was not and she told him that she was going to turn his phone # over to the local police and started to verify his full name and he hung up. He then called me right back and said why did you give them my number and why would you do that. I hung up on him. Very persistent, and very clever
