Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Received a phone call from NY, USA informing a win in a lottery of $580,000. The caller gave a ID of the win CP58OMT. The call origin phone # is 718 354 8330. I was instructed to call 718 255 3575 for verification then call back to a person named Patricia Baker, the original caller. The caller identified the source as being Publisher Direct Sweepstakes. The caller knew my name, address and ph. #. I may have replied to a mail in lottery in the past but can’t recall any details of doing so.
