Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

Was contacted from a "David Peters" in Jamaica claiming to be in association with Publishers Clearing House in which I received a $500,000 dollar price along with a brand new GMC Denali.

I was told there would be no fees in order to collect the price, and asked when I would be home to receive it. I was then asked for my home address, in which I requested THEM to verify, considering if I entered a sweepstakes, they should have the pertinent information. "David" told me that he would need to contact his manager to get that information so he can give it to me.

He never did.

When I asked for a company contact number, I was given (888)225-3825 – which is the number for "Cape Cod Duckmobiles" in Hyannis, MA.

Called back to inform them that it was an absolutely incorrect number, in which I was hung up on while he "looked for the real number".

I was called back and told that "there are no time for jokes" when I asked how much money they wanted from me in order to claim my prize. It was also stated that everything I had said was being recorded, and it was not funny. He grew more irritated the more he was aware that I knew this was a scam.

I asked for an e-mail with a document outlining my prize winnings. What I received was a poorly written document full of grammatical errors requesting a one time, refundable fee of $299.00 USD for registration and processing.
