Type of a scam Debt Collections

Scammer called on phone and said they were a process server wanting to contact my son. When I gave them his address they were uninterested and wanted me to set up a time to meet them in town the next day to sign papers. She identified herself as Rosie Brooks from Processing and Servicing Division. She said she did not know what was in the papers. I refused to meet them, and they left a toll free phone number and case number to give my son. Two days later they called my daughter in Indiana and left a message that if she didn’t return their call they would bring papers to her home address for her to sign. She called me and I told her not to call back the number. I talked to my son and he called the number they left, but it would not ring in at all.
