I just received a call from this people. They left a voicemail and this guy introduced himself as Alex Johnson ( who sounded like he is of Indian decent) from Provisional Risk Services for the State of California and that he have received 2 order of allegations to be filed against me immediately with the San Mateo County Clerks office." He proceed to say that "Unfortunately this department will be actively pursuing you at your place of employment and residence. You have the legal right to resolve this outside of the court, by calling 877-574-1804, case #__, but once you are located you forfeit that right." He then says my name and follows with you have officially been notified. I did some research and found an article under www.scamguard.com/provisional-risk-services about this company. The message they left sounded scripted as it was exactly the same (word for word) as the "Allegations by local clerks office" article submitted/written by: cbrumley on Sep 23, 2015. This is what led me to believe the call/message was a scam.

They have left the same messages to people I know using different area codes (650, 408, 949 and 559) in hope to obtain more information about me. I have reported these people/business, as well as another company called "High Point Assets, Inc." who left me a similar message a week prior, to the Federal Trade Commission and the CA Attorney General’s Office.

I never responded back nor contacted these people – so I do not have much information about them. But I believe it had to do with a PayDay Loan scam.
