Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
A minor child (age 17) was sent a check via US Postal Service for $2750.00. After Googling the company name on the check and speaking to a representative, the company says they are aware of the fraud; however, they would not transfer me to the fraud department to report the check, nor did they offer any advice or information on what to do with the fraudulent check.
