Are very unprofessional and rude. They take your application fee when they know you work for a staffing agency. They were tell you it’s not a liable source of income, but then tell you depends on how long you are with them. been with Joliet staffing for over 2 years. They only staff WCD Trader Joe’s. I am a supervisor and being hired on. This is not liable income? How is working at let’s say kohl’s. 1 yr with kohl’s something at anytime can happen and you lose your job. I make 5× the rent they ask for as well. They new my husband was with a staffing company before he did the application, they faild to inform him on this policy, and knowing took our application fee. So they ripped us off, and They stole our money, because they new before hand he was with a staffing company and would not qualify. Them knowing that fact as well and taking the application fee is fraud as well. I would love a refund, wont get it. asked for the manager name, Molly refuse to give me it. I’m calling a lawyer at this point. And informing the BBB of there fraudulent business and the misconduct..

I never do this but If you are moving to the Joliet area please by pass Protown properties they are slum. Their customer service sucks. They never want to fix anything always giving you crap about everything. Save yourself the trouble. I lived at their property for over 2 years I’ve cleaned the inside and out of the unit. Cleaned the appliances, the walls, I even shampooed the nasty rug they kept in the property when I moved in, cleaned the outside got rid of all the trash, and spent hours in the cold to rake the leaves I even gave them a 30 day notice painted wherever the paint was chipped in the unit I did everything I could do to get my deposit back and they refused made up charges that wasn’t true. I thought I had a chance because I’m a great tenant never left a property damaged in any way ever I wasnt raised like that. Never missed a payment. I wouldn’t lie to anybody when I tell you the good reviews on here is coming from them to lure you in DONT DO IT YOU WILL REGRET IT WISH I WOULDVE LISTENED TO THE REVIEWS. But when you are right nobody can take that from you. I will be taking them to court. Also if you decide to go through with them when you look at there property what you see it what you get. I went in thinking they would rip out the carpet and paint the walls. I wasn’t allowed to see the property again until after I signed the lease that’s how they get you. They’ll say whatever to get you in their properties I’ve asked a lot of ppl in Joliet has anyone ever gotten there deposit back from Protown everybody told me no even if you do everything right they will find a reason and add more charges to where you owe them in the end and they keep your deposit they got the right idea wrong person I’m always taking slum landlords to court And winning. now I’m seeing what every one was sayin it’s all true because I stayed at the unit until 2/2 i was suppose to be out on Jan 31st but I stayed 2 extra days to clean the unit I owed them $30 per day that’s $60 they never put that on the move out statement because they was to busy making up charges that wasn’t true smh poor excuse of a company. And shame on the city of Joliet for allowing this to happen to their people. They wouldn’t last a Day in Chicago sad part they have been doing the same thing for years to people.
