Type of a scam Employment

So there was a job posting for a job at proton loans that I saw on indeed so I applied then I got a email from the human resources recruiter whose told me his name is Harris W*** and that they would like to offer me a job so I accept. He told me that I would be working from home the first month then they will offer fulltime position at their new location in Washington. So I agreed to do it so he told me I had to do my interview through the chat on the website so I did Nd I was supposedly talking to a lady name Angela and she was asking me if I had experience and will I be able to do the job I said yes so then she said they will be send me a check to get my working materials at walmart then she ask for my drivers license my ssn for employment and unfortunately I took a picture of it and they were asking me if I bank with anyone and I told them no so they kinda made a big deal out of that so they said they would send me a cashier’s check to my address so I gave them my address so times goes on I haven’t recieve no check and I havent heard from Angela or Harris so I started to get upset and I wrote to them where the check and I need to work. So I chatted and pretended to be my best friend to see if I can get some more info about the company and the guy name Joseph was not trying to give me no location or nothing and he cut the conversation short. Today I got a text from Harris saying they apologize for the delay of the check and I will be getting it Wednesday do to bad weather at this point I’m like I dont want to work for you guys anymore I’m done. I check my mailbox and I seen I got something sent to me and it’s the check so I called the bank that it was issued to see if I can verify the check. The check was for$4760 and they bank told me that they never issued the cashier checks so the check is fake
