Type of a scam Investment

Several years ago, we were contacted by a company claiming to help direct funding from grants for a fee. They called themselves "Finance Pros." They were supposedly out of New Jersey and had a limited information web site for awhile which stated they were "approved" by the BBB. We had difficulty reaching the company by phone, especially after we gave them money by wire transfer to a Las Vegas bank/ location. Phone calls were never returned and eventually the numbers and web site disappeared.

I just received another "unsolicited" call from a man with a number out of Las Vegas this morning 2/1/16. He stated a Capital Investment" type of business, and asked for me or my wife specifically. We do not list our phone numbers, and after asking the man where he got out number, he stated the BBB. I believe it was a scam. His number is 702-951-9770. I tried to call back and got a message machine called "Profession Business." I believe it is a scam attempting to bilk people out of the money.
