Type of a scam Home Improvement

Minneapolis number called my phone and asked for me by name. Man in a loud room or garage said he was from Pro Services, calling about a scheduled roof assessment at a an address (just the street name, not the house number). I hung up before it got further. The street name was where my parents live, and I haven’t lived with them in several years, so if it was a legitimate call they wouldn’t have my name or number. I called my parents to be sure and they had no clue about any roofing. Said some roofing company (they were unsure of the name) had been going around the neighborhood ringing doorbells and making unsolicited offers for roof repair after a "hail storm last year". Look-up of the phone number reveals other complaints of a fake business scam.
