I opened my laptop like normal, and a huge ad looking like Microsoft ad told me to urgently call a hotline. I called the number and they had me give them some information including my bank account. I got suspicious, hung up the phone and locked down my bank account. They continued to call me claiming that they "weren’t the bad guys" and saying that I needed to pay in order to have the virus fixed.
