Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I listed an electric wheelchair for sale on Wish Local on Sunday and I was contacted by Jeremy wanting to buy my chair. He said he would be sending me a check. Today I received a check via Fed Ex written on the account for Priority Title Company of Dallas. The check was a little short of the asking price which made me concerned. Since receiving the check and depositing it into my bank, this man who is hard to understand due to his accent has been repeatedly calling and texting me wanting to know if I had deposited the check. That made me suspicious so I called the BBB and they did some research and found it’s a fake check scam.
